Eastern Illinois men's golf wrapped up competition at the 2026 Ohio Valley Conference Men's Golf Championships on Tuesday with the Panthers tying for ninth in the tournament field.
 
EIU shot a team score of 912 for their best OVC Tournament team score since the 2012 season.   The Panthers tied for ninth with Lindenwood.
 
Little Rock won the team stroke play championship leading from start to finish as did the Trojans Mark Stockdale who was the individual medalist.  Little Rock, UT Martin, Tennessee Tech and Bryant will compete in match-play on Wednesday to determine the OVC's winner of the NCAA Tournament automatic bid.
 
On Monday play was halted with several players still on the course with those players concluding their rounds on Tuesday before playing their final 18 holes at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Club – Ackerman Hills Course in West Lafayette, Ind.
 
Cole Jaworski, Jack Roche and Ian Hollander were still on the course when play stopped on Monday.
 
Jaworski closed Monday's round with a 73 before a final round 75 on Tuesday to rank as EIU's overall leader for the tournament in a tie for 19th.  Jaworski shot a 54-hole score of 222.
 
Hollander was EIU's leader through 36-holes after rounds of 74 and 73 on the Par 71 course.  He shot a final round of 77 to card a total of 224 and tie for 27th place.
 
Roche was EIU's third golfer to finish his second 18 holes on Tuesday before the final round.  The senior was tied for 42nd with a score of 242.  His best round came on Sunday with an 18-hole opening 75.
 
Luke Watson tied for 48th place as the freshman was the fourth Panther to play all 54 tournament holes.  Watson shot 236 with opening and closing rounds of 78.
 
Alex Siatos played the first two rounds for EIU finishing 54th with a 36-hole score of 163.  He was subbed out with Reis Claybrooke on Tuesday.  Claybrooke shot 79 and was 58th in the tournament standings.
