Eastern Illinois men's golf has added a player from the transfer portal as head coach Craig Toler announced the addition of Jordan McCaslin to the Panthers roster for the 2026-27 season.

McCaslin transfers into the Panthers program after playing the last two seasons at Fort Hays State in Kansas.

Over the two years he played in 18 events for Fort Hays with a 76.23 season stroke average last season and 76.14 as a sophomore in 2024-25.  During 52 rounds of competition, he posted six rounds at-or-below par with a low round of 65 this past season at The Mule Tournament.  He was named a Cobalt Golf/GCAA All-Academic Scholar in 2025-26 and twice named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

McCaslin began his career playing one season at Menlo College competing in two events during the 2023-24 academic year.

A native of Arvada, Colo, McCaslin was a second team All-State selection playing golf at Ralston Valley High School.  He was a three time All-Conference selection and qualified for the Colorado Class 5A State Championship three times.
