Eastern Illinois center Rahfeeq Katumbusi has been named one of the Top Returning FCS Offensive Linemen for the 2026 season by Hero Sports FCS.
 
Katumbusi was ranked as the No. 30 returning offensive linemen after starting 11 games for the Panthers last season and earning FCS Freshmen All-America honors by Phil Steele.   Katumbusi was a second team All-Conference selection.
 
EIU opens the 2026 season on Thursday, August 27 at Murray State with the home opener at O'Brien Field on Saturday, September 12 against Indiana State.
