Junior Abby Venhaus finished 39th in the women's long jump on Thursday evening as she wrapped up her 2026 season for Eastern Illinois track & field at the NCAA West Regional in Fayetteville, Ark.
 
Venhaus jumped in the second of four flights finishing with her best jump on her second attempt landing at 19'4.75".
 
EIU's outdoor track and field season is now complete after Shawn Lacy (javelin) and Maliek Bush (long jump) competed on Wednesday at the West Regional for the Panthers.
 
Venhaus was the OVC champion in the long jump this season making her first NCAA Regional appearance.
