Eastern Illinois men's golf opens its 2026-27 season this week as the Panthers play in the Iowa ANF Fall Classic in Riverside, Iowa on September 8-9.
 
The 54-hole event will be played at the 7,481 yard, Par 72 Blue Top Ridge at Riverside Course.
 
Teams scheduled to compete include host Iowa, Eastern Illinois, Bradley, Chicago State, Creighton, Evansville, Green Bay, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, Omaha, South Dakota Valparaiso, Western Illinois and Western Kentucky.
 
The Panthers return two of their top three golfers from last season with Luke Watson and Alex Siatos.   Watson led EIU last year with a 76.1 stroke average.  Siatos was tied for second on the team with a 76.2 season average.  Reis Claybrooke is the final golfer from last year's roster that returns this season.
 
EIU added four new faces for this season with Jordan McCaslin, Hudson Meister, Brendan O'Brien and Tanner Thompson.
