INDIANAPOLIS --  The Eastern Illinois men's and women's swimming squad finished up a full day of events at the IUPUI Jaguar Relays on Monday with the Panthers picking up three first place team honors.

The foursome of Ken Tiltges, Cody Showers, Mike Lehman, and Joe Ciliak represented the Eastern men on the first place podium by winning the 4x200-Freestyle event with a time of 1:28.10.

The Panther women won twice, as the threesome of Kelli Dicanio, Janis McGee and Sofia Pappanastos touched first in the 3x100-Breaststroke with a time of 3:39.23, and the Panther trio of Hailey Foss, Megan Eshleman and Morgan Roberts were victorious in the 3x500-Freestyle in 16:30.69.

Besides EIU and the host IUPUI squads, other teams competing at the non-scoring event included Ball State, Butler and Xavier.

In other events, the Panthers combined for seven second place finishes while also coming in third in five more races.

The Eastern men and women will now prepare for two final dual meets of the season, as the Panthers next host IUPUI and Saint Louis on Jan. 28 and Feb. 5, respectively.
