Eastern Illinois earned two Swimming & Diving Academic All-League selections, the Summit League announced today. Genevieve Biberdorf and Nolan Wallace were each selected to their respective all-league teams. 

To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale) completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions.

Genevieve Biberdorf 
Biberdorf earned her second career academic all-league honors. The senior from Woodway, Texas, holds a 4.00 GPA with a major in biochemistry. Last season, Biberdorf earned All-District by College Sports Communicators. In the pool, she competed in individual medley and breaststroke this past season. At the Summit League Championship, she recorded three new personal best times and two top ten finishes. In the 200 Y IM, she set a PR with a time of 2:09.92. She placed 6th in the 200 Y Breast with a time of 2:19.81 and placed 10th in the 100 Y Breast with a time of 1:04.22. She broke the 100 Breaststroke school record with a time of 1:04.22. She also has the second fastest 200 Breaststroke time in school history at 2:19.81.  

Nolan Wallace 
Wallace earned his second career academic all-league honors. The junior from Waunakee, Wisconsin, holds a 3.93 GPA with a major in construction management. Last season, Wallace earned Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators. He competes in breaststroke and holds the third fastest 200 Breaststroke time in school history at 2:04.72. Wallace is also a part of the 200 Medley Relay school record with a team time of 1:29.17. At the Summit League Championship, he placed 11th in the 100 Y Breast with a time of 55.80 and 14th in the 200 Y Breast with a time of 2:04.72.
