GAME 4:
The Panthers hit the road once again as they face their second straight Missouri Valley Conference opponent in Indiana State. This match will mark the end of a whirlwind season opening stretch in which the Panthers will have played four matches in six days. EIU is currently 1-2 overall and 0-1 on the road dropping a physical matchup to Memphis this past Sunday [Nov. 15]. The Sycamores welcome EIU to Terre Haute for their home season opener after going 0-2 on the road to open the season.

BROWN POSTS DOUBLE-DOUBLE:
Erica Brown earned her fifth career double-double and first of the season during the overtime loss to Loyola-Chicago Tuesday evening. Brown recorded 15 points while pulling in 16 rebounds, a new career high. 14 of Brown's 16 rebounds came on the defensive side of the court. This marks the 20th time Brown has scored in double digits during her career and the third straight game this season. Brown currently averages 15.7 points per game and 9.7 rebounds so far this season.

BEYOND REGULATION:
With Tuesday night's overtime loss against Loyola-Chicago the Panthers have gone into a fifth period two out of the first three games of the season. This marks more overtime games than the last two seasons combined. The most games EIU has gone into overtime during a season was five during the 2007-08 campaign in which the Panthers held a 4-1 record when going into extra time. Currently EIU maintains an 18-12 overall record in overtime games.
