GAME 7
Eastern Illinois closes out their two-game home stand this Monday hosting Indiana State at 6 p.m. The Panthers head into the game 4-2 on the season after winning their most recent game 74-60 over Illinois-Springfield. EIU opened the game with a tremendous first quarter holding UIS to only one basket the whole period. The Panthers finished the first quarter out-scoring UIS 21-5 as EIU finished the game with four Panthers scoring in double-figures.With the win EIU has already surpassed their win total from last year.

SEEING DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Two Panthers finished Saturday's game against Illinois-Springfield earning double-doubles marking the first time since the 2014-15 season that such a feat has been accomplished. Jalisha Smith earned her second straight double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds while Allison Van Dyke recorded her first career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The last two Panthers to record double-doubles in the same game were Sabina Oroszova and Erica Brown.

ATTACKING FROM ALL FRONTS
So far this season four Panthers have started all six games for EIU with all four of those Panthers averaging at least 11 points per game. Freshman Allison Van Dyke leads the team averaging 12.8 points per game. Following her career high setting 26-point performance against Illinois-Springfield, Grace Lennox is now second on the team averaging 12 points per game. Jalisha Smith and Erica Brown round out EIU's top scorers averaging 11.8 and 11 points per game respectively. Smith and Brown are also the team's leading rebounders with eight and 7.3 rebounds per game so far this year.
