Eastern Illinois men's tennis returns to action with upcoming matches this Friday at IUPUI and next Tuesday at Chicago State.
The Panthers are 0-2 to start the season with losses at Big Ten member Indiana and at Ball State. During the spring season
Freddie O'Brien has secured the only win for the Panthers picking up a 6-3, 4-4 win at Ball State playing at No. 1 singles. O'Brien has also teamed with
Trent Reiman playing at No. 1 doubles in the two matches this spring. Reiman and O'Brien have now posted a 5-6 record in doubles play including their tournament action during the fall semester.
During fall tournament play
Logan Charbonneau,
Gage Kingsmith, O'Brien and Reiman all posted a pair of wins.
The match at IUPUI will be played at 12 p.m. (Central) on Friday afternoon at the West Indy Racquet Club. IUPUI is currently 1-1 on the season.
The match against Chicago State will be played at 1 p.m. next Tuesday at the Homewood-Flossmoor Racquet and Fitness Club. Chicago State is 1-0 on the year.
