Chattanooga Baras Classic Link

Eastern Illinois men's tennis wrapped up its 2019 fall schedule with the Panthers splitting action at the Chattanooga Steve Baras Classic and the Illinois State Redbird Fall Invite.
 
Playing for a point system at the Baras Classic the Panthers earned several points with wins in both doubles and singles play.
 
Logan Charbonneau had a solid weekend for EIU winning twice in doubles and once in singles play.  Charbonneau teamed with Daniel Hernandez for a 6-4 doubles win over a tandem from Austin Peay. He would also play with Gertjan De Wilder beating a team from UNC Asheville 6-2 before losing to a team from South Carolina Upstate 4-6.   Charbonneau's singles win was 6-3, 6-1 over Thiago Noguiera of Austin Peay.
 
Christos Kyrillou picked up two wins in singles play.  He had a three-set singles win 4-6, 6-1, 10-7 over Anton Damberg of Austin Peay.  He would also add a 7-6 (4), 6-4 win over Andres Hansen of UNCA.
 
In singles play at the Illinois State Fall Invite, Mike Jansen and Luka Knieling both collected wins in singles action.
