Eastern Illinois men's and women's tennis continue their season opening road trip as the Panthers are back on the this weekend with both programs playing a pair of matches.

Men
Eastern Illinois men's tennis returns to action as the Panthers will play Friday and Sunday at Valparaiso and UIC. 
 
The men open up at Valparaiso at 3 p.m. Friday. Valparaiso is 3-1 overall.

Sunday they will travel to Chicago to go against UIC at 1 p.m. The Flames are 0-5 overall. 
 
EIU is 6-4 on the season after going 3-2 in five matches last weekend. Freddie O'Brien leads the way at No. 1 singles at 5-3 in dual matches picking up wins last weekend. No. 2 singles Mike Jansen also picked up wins over the weekend. The pair have been in the top spots so far this season. 
 
At doubles, No. 2 Jansen and Daniel Hernandez are 6-0 in this spot.
 
Women
Eastern Illinois women's tennis will travel to Wisconsin this weekend to take on Cardinal Stritch and Milwaukee hoping to snap their losing streak. 
 
The Panthers are 3-4 on the season. Rachel Papavasilopoulos is 5-2 in dual matches at the No. 1 spot. Papavasilopoulos and Srishti Slaria are 6-0 at No. 1 doubles picking up a set of wins over the weekend. 
 
Cardinal Stritch is opening up play this weekend and Milwaukee is 4-0.
