EIU vs. Ball State
MUNCIE, Ind. – Eastern Illinois and Ball State met on Sunday afternoon as the two teams were snowed out in January in the originally scheduled match. Ball State picked up a 6-1 win.
EIU fell to 9-10 on the season. BSU improved to 8-7.
Ball State won the point in doubles play winning at number one and number two doubles. The match at number three was left unfinished after the Cardinals won the point.
In singles play
Freddie O'Brien claimed the lone point for EIU playing at number one singles. O'Brien beat Marko Guzina in three sets 5-7, 7-5, 11-9.Â
Ball State claimed the other five singles matches winning each in straight sets.Â
