EIU Panther Fall Invite Results
Eastern Illinois men's and women's tennis hosted the EIU Panther Fall Invite over the weekend. The men's field included seven teams while the women faced teams from Southern Indiana and Western Illinois.
On the men's side Lewis University won the men's doubles title for flights 1 and 2. The Flyers also took home the singles titles for flights 1 and 2. Southern Indiana claimed the flight 3 and 4 crowns.
Gertjan De Wilder won four matches for the EIU men's team as he played through to win the consolation bracket in flight 2 singles. Teammate
Luka Knieling also won three matches playing in flight 2 singles.
Kyle Burton would win four matches for the Panthers in flight 4 as he won the consolation men's title.
On the women's side
Elizaveta Bukraba-Ulanova won three matches in singles with a fourth win by default.
She would team with
Lauren Ellis in doubles play and three additional wins.
