Milwaukee Women's Results
While a portion of the EIU men's and women's tennis team competed in the Panthers home Fall Invite over the weekend, EIU also sent a group of players to the Toledo Men's Rocket Invite and the ITA Milwaukee Tennis Classic for the women.

The men had two players selected to the All-Tournament team as
Freddie O'Brien and
Mike Jansen both earned honors.

O'Brien won his singles match 6-3, 3-6, 10-3 over Cole Shoults of Toledo and then was 2-1 in doubles action. O'Brien teamed with
Gage Kingsmith for two doubles wins over Chicago State (6-3, 6-3) and Valparaiso (6-2, 6-1).

Jansen won his singles match 6-2, 6-4 over Earl Hsieh of Case Western Reserve. He also beat Laurentiu Mandocescu of Youngstown State (4-6, 7-6, 11-9).

On the women's side
Rachel Papavasilopoulos and
Christine Gouws both played in the ITA Milwaukee Open. After both players lost in their opening singles round matches, they both won two matches in the consolation bracket.   Papavasilopoulos will travel this week to compete in the Oracle ITA Open in Malibu, Calif.
