Eastern Illinois men's tennis will play its second match of the spring season on Friday afternoon as the Panthers travel to Ball State.
 
EIU lost its season opener last Friday at Big Ten member Michigan State. 
 
In the match Leighton Brandon pushed his match at No. 1 singles to three sets before falling to Anthony Pero, 5-7, 6-3, 10-6.

Tyler Carlin battled at No. 4 singles falling in two sets 6-4, 6-1.  Thomas Wallace played at No. 5 singles and dropped his match in two sets 6-3, 6-4.

Wallace played with Max Pilipovic-Kljajic at No. 3 singles with the pair losing a closely contest match 6-4.
 
This will be the first match of the spring season for Ball State.
