Wright State Final Results
SPRINGBORO, Ohio – Eastern Illinois men's golf played its final regular season tournament over the weekend with Midwest weather canceling the final 18 holes on Monday at the Wright State Invitational.

EIU placed 12th in the event completing 36-holes on Sunday with a team score of 640. Host Wright State won the team title in the event with Raiders golfer Davis Root the individual medalist.

The Panthers were led by
Pierce Allord and
Ben Lanman as both players tied for 60th with a 36-hole score of 160. Lanman had the lowest opening round for EIU shooting a 78 at the Heatherwoode Golf Club.  Allord had back-to-back rounds of 80.

Preston Smith had the Panthers low round on the second 18 holes shooting a Sunday afternoon score of 77 as he posted a 36-hole score of 161 to stand tied for 63rd.

Keegan Gowin was tied for 66th with a 36-hole total of 162.Â

Grant Mascal shot a second round 79 to finish at 167 in a tie for 74th.Â
Juan Pablo Ng rounded out the EIU golfers with a score of 183 to place 83rd.

EIU will return to action next weekend as the Panthers play at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
