SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Summit League has just released their men's and women's swimming and diving preseason poll plus their athletes to watch. Eastern Illinois was selected to finish in seventh in both the men's and women's division. During the Summit League Championships last season, the Panthers both finished in sixth place.
Southern Indiana and Lindenwood have also been added to the Summit League this season. The Screaming Eagles were picked to finish in seventh in both polls while Lindenwood was picked to finish in third in both after playing in the Great Lakes Valley Conference last season.
Denver University was selected as the winner in the Summit League in both divisions with South Dakota slated to finish second. Below are the full rankings:

For the men's team,
Sebastian Rosales and
Conner Colston were selected as the two swimmers to watch. Rosales, freshman, is from Richmond Hill, Ga. and posted a power index of 26 and ranked 46th in the state of Georgia. He placed fifth in the 50 fly prelims with a time of 25.94 at the Georgia LC Senior State Championship in Athens.
Colston is returning for his second season with the Panthers. Last season, he posted three first-place finishes while winning the 100 free (47.70) against Valparaiso. Colston swam the anchor leg on the 200 free relay team (1:22.34) at the Summit League Championships. His time ranks third in the Eastern Illinois career record book.
Camryn Lewis and
Kennedy Darensbourg were selected as the swimmers to watch for the women's team. Lewis placed fourth in the 50 free at the Summit League Championships last season while setting a new school record time of 23.14. Was apart of the 200 free relay team that posted a time of 1:36.80, which ranks fifth in the EIU record books. She added three first-place finishes last season.
Darensbourg posted multiple season best timesin the 200 and 500 free during last years Summit League Championships. Collected three first-place finishes last season, one in the 500 free and two in the 1000 free.
The Panthers will start their season on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 11 a.m. at the Butler Invitational in Indianapolis, Ind. EIU will host their first meet on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. while hosting Valparaiso and Bellarmine at Padovan Pool.
