The home opener for Eastern Illinois Swimming is now in the books, in a meet that brought multiple first-place finishes.
Men's Swimming:
Sebastian Rosales and Canyon Bain went one and two in the Men 100 Yard Butterfly. Rosales scored first place with a time of 52.54. Right behind him, Bain finished with a time of 53.23.
Nolan Wallace won gold in the Men 200 Yard Breaststroke with a finishing time of 2:11.25. Wallace also came out on top in the Men 100 Yard Breaststroke, finishing in 57.65 seconds.
Joseph Wyatt outpaced the competition in the Men 200 Yard Butterfly with a final time of 1:57.90.
Women's Swimming:
Jenna Patridge held it down in the women's 200 Yard Backstroke with a winning time of 2:09.30. Partridge also won the women's 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 59.74.
Genevive Biberdorf earned the top spot in the women's 200 Yard Breaststroke with a final time of 2:30.49. Biberdorf also won the women's 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:18.13. The win continued for Biberdorf, as she won the women's 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:09.96.
Sophia Buswell joined the winner circle in the women's 100 Yard Butterfly finishing in 58.69 seconds.
