Eastern Illinois men's tennis will travel to Northern Kentucky for a Friday afternoon match with the Norse. The two schools will play at 2 p.m. at the Five Seasons Sports Club.
EIU enters at 2-1 on the season after a pair of wins on Saturday at the Danville Tennis Center.
Freshman
Alex Dinkov played well picking up a pair of wins at No. 4 singles including the clinching point in the 4-1 win over Quincy as Dinkov won in three sets.
Pau Riera playing at No. 3 singles and
Thomas Wallace at No. 5 singles also picked up a pair of wins in singles action on Saturday as both improved to 2-1 on the season.
In doubles action Wallace teamed with
Tyler Carlin as the pair improved to 2-1 on the season at No. 2 doubles. Riera played at No. 3 doubles with
Max Pilipovic-Kljajic with the tandem also improving to 2-1 on the season.
Northern Kentucky is 4-3 on the season.
EIU is playing in the Horizon League South Division this season while NKU is a member of the Horizon League North Division. This match is a non-conference contest between the two schools.
