Another year of dominance for Eastern Illinois for EIU men's cross country as the Panthers won their fourth consecutive title and 11
th overall.

EIU won the championship scoring 56 points followed by Southern Indiana (74 pts), Little Rock and Tennessee Tech in the top four.

Adam Swanson was named both the OVC Male Runner of the Year and the Runner of the Championships after a first place finish. Ā Swanson took the lead in the opening 300 meters and never looked back winning the 8K race with a time of 23:33.57.
Michael Atkins and Richie Jacobo also had top seven finishes to earn first team All-OVC honors.Ā Atkins was third in the race with a time of 23:50.06.Ā Jacobo placed sixth with a time of 23:58.47.
Joe Stoddard and Isai Morales closed out the scored top five runners for EIU to clinch the title.Ā Ā Stoddard was 18th with a time of 24:35.46.Ā Morales was 28th with a time of 24:52.35.

Sam CruzĀ were the sixth and seventh Panthers to finish with Nowak placing 31st with a time of 24:58.92.Ā Cruz was just behind in 32nd with a time of 25:00.22.
