Eastern Illinois men's tennis heads into its third weekend of the season as the Panthers will be on the road for matches on Friday and Sunday.
 
The Panthers will open Friday afternoon at IU Indy and then travel to face Dayton in a neutral site match on Friday evening in Zionsville, Ind.  Competition wraps up for the weekend on Sunday afternoon at Lipscomb.
 
EIU picked up its first team win of the season this past weekend with a 7-0 win over NAIA member Judson University.  The Panthers won all three doubles matches and then took each of the singles contests in two sets.
 
Zach White had wins at No. 3 singles in both weekend matches as he leads the Panthers with a 2-2 record on the season.  He won in two sets against Northern Illinois securing the Panthers only point in the match and then in two sets over Judson.
 
EIU also has two doubles pairs that have each picked up two wins this year.  Playing with Ludolph Wiggett at No. 1 doubles, Zach White has added two wins to his season total in doubles play.  At No. 2 doubles the pair of Alex Aldaz and Pieke Bouman have a 2-1 record.
