The time is officially here; Eastern Illinois men's and women's swimming 2025-2026 season is underway. There are a great number of new faces creating an internal excitement for head coach Scott Teeters.

Men's: The men's team added nine newcomers to the men's rosters, including Abdelrahman Awad, Riley Blaisuis, Joshua Campion, Shane Gabel, Luke Helm, John Howaniec, Simonas Rimskis, Jack Rivera, and Alexander Ssadowski. These newcomers arrive by transfer, high school, or JUCO. Scott Teeter's new additions will be paired with the eleven returners.

Landon Badstibner returns for his junior year after posting a team-best 200 back time of 1:58.38 at the Summit League Championship.

Zach Clark will be back in action this season after posting a time of 6:44.29 in the 800 free relay, which is the second fastest time in school history.

Another returner, Sebastian Rosales, will be back after a season in which he helped set a new school record in the 200 medley relay (1:30.24).

Women's: The women's team added seven newcomers to their roster to go along with their seven returners from last year. The seven newcomers include Remington Bokos, Sophia Buswell, Emma Crider, Dakkon Eilrich, Annemarie Johnson, Jenna Patridge, and Maja Przybylska.

Genevieve Biberdorf, a senior from Woodway, Texas, returns after earning a time of 1:06.50 in the 100 Breast, which ranked seventh on the EIU career list.

Bella Earll returns for her senior year after posting top times at the Summit League, including a 24.82 in the 50 Free.

Jessica Hoh will be back for her sophomore campaign after posting a season-best time of 26.19 in the 50 Free at the Summit League meet.

Panthers Head Coach:
Scott Teeters enters his second season as head of the Panthers, but is no stranger to the sport of swimming. The 10th head coach in program history has close to 40 years of coaching experience with 25 seasons at the collegiate level. Under his direction, individuals and relays posted 26 EIU top ten marks and set 12 school records during the 2024-2025 season. This past season, he coached Summit League Scholar-Athlete of the Championship Nolan Wallace and the Dr. Gail Richard Sportsmanship Award Winner Corinne Staneart in 2025.
