Eastern Illinois had another successful year with athletes excelling in their individual sports during the 2024-25 season. 
 
Jason Anderson was named the OVC Coach of the Year for baseball, the only EIU coach to collect an award for the season.
 
EIU women's soccer had Abby Reinl win OVC Midfielder of the Year.
 
EIU women's basketball had two major award winners in Macy McGlone (Player of the Year) and Kiyley Flowers (Defender of the Year).
 
EIU men's indoor track had Abraham Johnson win OVC co-Freshman of the Year.
 
EIU softball had two major award winners in Kendall Grover (Player of the Year) and McKenzie Oslanzi (Pitcher of the Year).
 
In addition, EIU finished the year with 27 first-team All-Conference selections in the OVC, Summit League and OVC-Big South Football Association.
