Eastern Illinois women's golf will open the 2025 fall season this weekend as the Panthers play Sunday and Monday at the Kansas Jayhawk Invitational.
 
The 36-hole event will include 18-holes on both days at The Jayhawk Club.  The course layout will cover 6,337 yards and play as a Par 72.
 
Eastern Illinois joins host Kansas, Alabama State, Creighton, Longwood, Louisiana Monroe, North Alabama, Northern Iowa, UT Arlington and Wichita State in the ten team field.
 
EIU returns all five players from last season's roster adding newcomers Addison Kenney (Fr) and Sophia Miller (Jr).
 
Meera Upadhyay posted the team's best season stroke average last year with an 80.6 season average over ten events.  She posted three top 20 finishes for the season.
 
Mya Mirocha played the best golf for EIU down the stretch finishing tied for seventh at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships.  She had a season stroke average of 81.5 with two top ten finishes and two additional top 20 finishes.
