Tournament Results
For the second straight week Eastern Illinois men's golf had a player post a top five scoring round as the Panthers competed Monday and Tuesday at the Drake Zach Johnson Invitational in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Ian Hollader opened tournament play with a round of 67 which tied for the fifth best round in school history. The four-under total on the Par 71 Glen Oaks Country Club placed the junior at the top of the leaderboard after 18 holes.

Hollander shot 79 during the Monday afternoon round and finished with a round of 74 on Tuesday to place 25th in the tournament field with a 54-hole score of 220.

As a team EIU opened with a round of 294 and closed on Tuesday with a team round of 288 as the Panthers finished ninth at the event. North Dakota won the team title with Jack Holtz of South Dakota the individual medalist.

Jack Yewchuk led the solid Tuesday team round for EIU with a round of two-under par 69, his lowest of the tournament. Yewchuk was 42nd with a 54-hole score of 227.

Alex Siatos was EIU's second finisher among the five scored golfers in a tie for 39th. Siatos posted a 54-hole score of 226 with an even par round of 71 to close out play on Tuesday.

A week after writing his name in the EIU record book, freshman
Luke Watson was tied for 43rd with a top round of 74 on Tuesday and a 54-hole score of 228.Â

Jack Roche was EIU's final scored golfer placing 50th with a 54-hole total of 231. He turned in back-to-back rounds of 75 on Monday.

Cole Jaworski played as an individual for the Panthers finishing tied for 32nd with a total of 224.   He posted a closing round of 72 on Tuesday.
