MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- On Sunday, Eastern Illinois men's tennis lost a 7-0 match at Marquette, as well as a 6-1 neutral site contest to UW-Green Bay, as the Panthers fell to 1-7 on the season.

Versus Marquette, the Panthers lost in straight sets in each of the singles matchups, while also dropping the all-important doubles point.

However, the duos of Charlie Dryden/Michael Sperry and Kevin Bauman/Vance Davis did push their respective No. 2 and No. 3 opponents to the limit.

Against the Phoenix, newcomer Kevin Bauman picked up the lone singles win at the No. 6 spot, while Warren Race dropped a tough three-set affair at No. 3, winning the first set but coming up just short in the next two frames.

Eastern will next return to the court on Wednsday (March 2), traveling to Peoria to face instate foe Bradley.
