CHARLESTON, Ill. -- Eastern Illinois women's tennis will look to snap a four-match losing streak on Friday (March 9), as the Panthers travel to Peoria to face Bradley.  First serve has been moved to a 12:30 p.m. start at the Clubs at River City North.

The Panthers enter the weekend at 2-6 at the near mid-point of the season.  Most recently EIU fell 7-0 at Illinois State last weekend.

Both senior Amanda Dibbs and sophomore Janelle Prisner lead EIU with 4-4 records in singles action.  Prisner is 4-3 all-time when playing at the top of the lineup, while Dibbs is a perfect 1-0 at the No. 3 spot.

In Panther doubles, Prisner and junior Merritt Whitley lead the squad with a 4-4 mark at the No. 1 duo spot, while the team of Annie Egan and Jennifer Kim are 1-1 at No. 3.

The Braves, at 2-10 overall, are also riding a four-match losing streak, plus BU has already lost to fellow Ohio Valley Conference foes Southeast Missouri and SIU Edwardsville by respective scores of 6-1 and 5-2.

Following Friday's action the Panthers will have nearly two weeks to prepare for the squad's home opener versus IUPUI on Tuesday, March 20.  First serve is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at EIU's Rex Darling Courts.
