GAME 2
Eastern Illinois women's basketball travels to Indianapolis for a road game at Butler on Friday Nov. 9 at 11 am. The Panthers picked up a dominating 102-43 win over Oakland City in their season opener and look to continue their offensive success at Butler before returning home for a two game home stand. The Bulldogs picked up a 69-31 exhibition win over Trine and will open the season vs. the Panthers on Friday.
BENCH PRODUCTION
EIU's bench combined for 61 of their 102 points vs. Oakland City in their season opener. 
Carmen Tellez led all-scorers with 13 points as she connected on a team-best three three-pointers. 
Danielle Berry and 
Jordyn Hughes found success at the free throw line and each scored 10 points off the bench. Berry was 4-for-4 at the line while Hughes was 5-for-6. 
Camino Tellez was 3-for-3 from the field with two three pointers and finished with eight points. Every other bench player scored at least one field goal for the Panthers.
LENNOX REACHES 1,000
Grace Lennox scored nine points in the Panthers 102-43 win over Oakland City Tuesday night. In the third quarter, she connected on a three-pointer at the 8:31 minute mark to make her the 24th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points. She finished the game 4-of-5 from the field and tallied a lead leading five steals.
SUCCESS ON THE BOARDS
The Panthers grabbed 59 total rebounds vs. OCU. Eighteen of those boards were on the offensive end of the floor. 
Grace McRae, 
Jennifer Nehls, and 
Jalisha Smith  all tied for a game-leading three offensive boards. The Panthers were able to convert those 18 rebounds to 17 second chance points. Nehls also set a career-high with 10 total rebounds, while Smith finished with eight total rebounds.
