GAME 25
The Panthers return to action at home vs. APSU Saturday Feb. 10 at 1 pm. The Panthers fell earlier this week on the road to SIUE 62-52 and look to pick up their third conference win before hitting the road for a two game swing. Austin Peay is coming off a 91-65 loss to Murray State. APSU has fallen in three of their last four games and hold the sixth spot in conference standings heading into Saturday's match-up.

SCOUTING APSU
APSU currently holds the sixth spot in conference standings with a 6-7 OVC record and needs to pick up a few wins here in the final stretch to hold on to a spot in the conference tournament. They have dropped three of their last four games with their lone win coming against SEMO. The Governors have a well-rounded scoring effort with several players performing consistently over the season. Brianne Alexander leads the team with 11.2 ppgs and grabs 5.6 rpg. Falon Baker adds 10.1 ppg, while Keisha Gregory and Brianah Ferby add 9.1 ppg. Gregory is third overall in the OVC with a three-point percentage of 41.3.

PANTHERS IN THE PAINT
EIU has seen an increase in points in the paint the past five games. They have tied two of their last five opponents and out-scored the other three. Most recently, EIU tied SIUE with 32 points in the paint. They also tied Belmont on Jan. 25 with 18 points in the paint. The Panthers out-scored TSU, JSU, and TTU. Their greatest margin came against JSU having scored 10 more points than the Gamecocks in the paint.

THREE-POINT SUCCESS
Taylor Steele connected from beyond the arc on a pair of three's for the Panthers at SIUE. She remains in the overall top-15 for three-point percentage with .369. She also is ranked 13th as she knocks down 1.6 from the arc per game. Carmen Tellez is 12th on the list with 1.6.
