Match Results 

CHICAGO - The Eastern Illinois women traveled to the Windy City to play DePaul and lost 6-1 to the Blue Devils on Sunday afternoon at the Lakeshore Fitness Center.

The EIU women's team wrapped up a busy weekend of tennis action on Sunday afternoon as the Blue Demons beat the Panthers 6-1.  EIU had opened the weekend with a pair of wins on Friday over IUPUI and Illinois-Springfield.

DePaul opened the match winning all three doubles matches to secure the first point.

Playing with an adjusted line-up, EIU moved players up one spot in the singles rotation as they lost the first five matches in straight sets. 

Playing at No. 6 singles Abby Carpenter won her second match of the weekend as she beat Alina Kuzmenkova to collect the lone point of the match for EIU.  Carpenter won 6-3, 6-3.  On Friday the junior also picked up a straight set win at No. 6 singles in the win against IUPUI.

EIU fell to 6-9 on the season.
