Eastern Illinois women's tennis wrapped up competition over the weekend with players in action at Northwestern and Ball State.

At the Northwestern Wildcat Invite, EIU had

Esa Kavtaradez playing both singles and doubles.

Papavasilopoulos played in the Singles Flight A draw losing her opening match to Carlotta Molina of Kentucky in three sets, 6-7, 7-5, 6-4.  Papavasilopoulos won her second match by default before withdrawing from her final match.

Gouws would play in the Singles Flight C draw losing to Tia Mukherjee of Michigan State in straight sets. She would then fall in her second set to Natalija Popovic of Marquette before getting a win in her third match.

Kavtaradez would lose all three of her singles matches in Flight D while Bukraba-Ulanova was the third place finisher in the Flight H Draw. She won her opening match in three sets and then the third place contest in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.
