NORMAL, Ill. - Eastern Illinois women's tennis picked up four doubles wins and three singles wins during weekend competition at the Illinois State Redbird Invite.

Christine Gouws and Addison Brown collected two of the wins for the Panthers in doubles action.  Last spring the pair partnered for five wins in doubles play competing primarily at the No. 2 doubles position.

Madeline Monroy played with Elizaveta Bukraba-Ulanova for one of hte Panthers other doubles wins with Brittany Steven and Lauren Ellis getting EIU's third doubles win of the weekend.

In singles action, Bukraba-Ulanova, Monroy and Ellis all picked up one win during the three-day event.
