Eastern Illinois women's tennis wrapped up the fall season over the weekend playing at the ISU Redbird Hidden Duals. The event featured teams from EIU, Illinois State, Southeast Missouri and Milwaukee.
Christine Gouws picked up wins in singles play and in doubles play to lead EIU for the weekend.
Gouws won in three sets at No. 2 singles against Southeast Missouri. She posted a 7-6 (6), 2-6, 10-8 victory.
Gouws would win at No. 1 singles playing with
Elizaveta Bukraba-Ulanova with a 7-5 victory.
Bukraba-Ulanova would play at No. 1 singles for the Panthers against Southeast Missouri falling in three sets. She would also drop a three-set match at No. 1 singles against Illinois State.
Against Milwaukee, Bukraba-Ulanova played at No. 2 singles falling in three sets. Gouws moved up to face Milwaukee at No. 1 singles also losing in three sets.
