RALEIGH, N.C. -- Eastern Illinois men's track concluded day one of the Outdoor Track & Field meet at the Raleigh Relays on Thursday evening. The evening saw Redshirt Junior
Dustin Hatfield break the all-time EIU record for the Outdoor 5000 meter with a time of 13:53.21. Hatfield had previously ranked third all-time in school history with his time of 14:04.73 which he set a season ago. Hatfield's time was good for a second place finish out of 23 runners in the eighth of 10 sections at the event.

The Panthers will wrap up their first meet of the season tomorrow when Senior
