Mt. SAC Relays Results   | Bryan Clay Results 

WALNUT, Calif. – Taking advantage of ideal distance running conditions Eastern Illinois runners Dustin Hatfield and Lindsey Carlson both set EIU school records in the 10,000 meter run competing late on Thursday evening at the Mt. SAC Relays in California.
 
Hatfield broke his own school record in the 10,000 meter event as he placed 14th in the 10K Elite Race with a time of 28:41.86.  The time currently ranks 27th in the NCAA this season.
 
Carlson ran the 10K for the first time in her collegiate career and smashed the Panthers school mark by over a minute.  Carlson's time was 34:13.10 as she placed 8th in the women's Open 10K race.
 
Also competing on Thursday at the Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Meet were Jaime Marcos and Josh Whitaker.
 
Marcos placed 20th in his section of the 5,000 meter run with a time of 14:15.12 which moved him up to seventh on the EIU career lists.
 
Whitaker placed 98th overall in the men's 800 meter run with a time of 1:57.15.
