BLOOMINGTON, IND -- Eastern Illinois Track & Field concluded the 2022 outdoor regular season at the Billy Hayes Invitational hosted by Indiana University.
In the women's hammer throw,
Taylor Iverson finished in fourth place and set a new personal best with a distance of 47.47m (155'9"). In the women's javelin throw,
Danielle Scaduto finished in second place with a distance of 39.12m (128'4"), while
Caroline Lendy finished in third with a distance of 37.69m (123'8"). In the men's discus throw,
Matthew Gladieux finished in second place with a distance of 48.21m (158'2"). In the women's long jump
Taryn Tarquin set a new personal best with a distance of 5.21m (17'1.25").Â
In the track events of the day,
Sam Mabry set a new personal best in the women's 1500 meter dash with a time of 4:55.58. In the women's 100m hurdles,
Mckenna Wojcicki finished in fourth place with a time of 14.49. In the men's 110m hurdles,
Stenoree Allen placed third with a time of 14.82, while
Jekeel Suber placed fourth with a time of 14.85.Â
Up next, the Panthers will head to Murray, Ky. for the OVC Outdoor Championships, which will be held Wednesday, May 11 through Friday, May 13.
