She earned first team All-State and was the Section Singles and Doubles Player of the Year.
"We are really excited to have Maddie join the program. I have enjoyed getting to know her during the recruiting progress and love how excited she is to be a Panther," said Jarzynka. "Maddie has the game to be a tremendous player for us and will be a big part of the program moving forward."
Pilipovic-Kljajic is the younger sister of current EIU men's player Max Pilipovic-Kljajic and hails from Brisbane, Australia. She attended St. Peter's Lutheran College for prep school and was team captain playing in the number one doubles position. She went undefeated in doubles play during her senior season. Pilipovic-Kljajic played at number three singles on her high school roster.
"We are loooking forward to having another member of the Pilipovic-Kljajic family join Panther Nation. It was fantastic going through the recruiting process with Emma and I believe she has the ability to develop into a solid player for us during her time in Charleston," said Jarzynka.
