Renovales Salazar is from Los Mochis, Mexico and attended IES Tias in the Canary Islands (Spain) for high school.  She comes to EIU from Eastern Florida State College where she was a NJCAA National's Semifinalist in 2023 Division I tournament.   She helped lead the team to a 10th place finish at nationals.   As a high school player she reached No. 290 in the Spanish national rankings and was the winner of the Island Regional Tournament.

Kostadinova is from Willow Springs, Ill., and began her tennis career at Lyons Township High School where she was the number one singles player on the team during her freshman and sophomore years.  She helped the school advanced to the IHSA Class 2A state playoffs.  She then attended and played at John Newcombe Tennis Academy in New Braunfels, Texas.  Kostadinova appeared in the Snowball Classic MW Level 3 and the Premier Holiday Open G18s Level 4.
