SIUE Hidden Dual Results
Eastern Illinois women's tennis opened fall play over the weekend at the SIUE Hidden Dual. The two-day event featured competition against SIUE, Bradley and Saint Louis.
The Panthers faced Bradley in singles play on the opening day falling 6-0 in the match. The Panthres had two new players push their singles matches to three sets as
Aleyla Wooten played at No. 1 singles falling 6-3, 4-6, 10-5. Playing at No. 5 singles
Luisa Renovales Salazar fell in three sets 7-5, 4-6, 10-3.
EIU would face Saint Louis and SIUE in doubles play to end day one losing all three doubles matches in both contests. Wooten and
Addison Brown played at No. 1 doubles losing 6-4 to Saint Louis with
Jemma Booth and Salazar playing at No. 2 doubles falling 6-4 to Saint Louis.
One the final day EIU had doules action against Bradley again falling in all three contests.
EIU played SLU and SIUE in singles matches.
Michelle Kostadinova won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5 singles for a win against Saint Louis.
EIU would fall 6-0 to SIUE.
