Eastern Illinois director of tennis
Robin Cambier has completed his coaching staff for the upcoming season with the addition of Ksenija Tihomirova as an assistant coach with both the men's and women's programs.

Tihomirova comes to EIU after working the last two seasons as a graduate assistant coach with the women's tennis program at Northern Illinois. In that role she helped with player development and match preparation.

Prior to her time at NIU Tihomirova previously coached for three years at Tennis Club "Open" in Riga, Latvia. In that role served as the hitting pro for professional athletes in a national team while also coaching individual lessons and the club's youth team.

She played at the collegiate level at Fairleigh-Dickinson as the program's number one player before ending her collegiate career playing at Rutgers where she earned Academic All-Big Ten Conference honors.Â

Tihomirova has one additional year of coaching experience in the United States at The Strand Tennis Center in New Jersey coaching individual players.
