Eastern Illinois women's tennis opens the 2025 spring season on Saturday as the Panthers will host North Dakota at the Terre Haute Tennis and Pickleball Center.
The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. (Central).
EIU was picked to finish sixth in the Ohio Valley Conference preseason ranking released earlier this week with all eight schools advancing to the end of season OVC Tournament in St. Louis in late April. Bryant will play as an affiliate member this year competing only in the OVC Tournament event.
Charleigh Fay was named the Panthers singles player to watch for the upcoming season with
Aleyla Wooten and
Michelle Kostadinova listed as the EIU doubles team to watch.
Wooten was a second team All-OVC selection last season in singles play posting a 5-1 record in singles competition at the No. 2 spot in the line-up.
EIU returns five players from last year with three new freshmen women's players.
