The winter season is near, which means Eastern Illinois' indoor track season is approaching. EIU is coming off two 3rd place finishes in both of the indoor and outdoor seasons. EIU's schedule is highlighted by the continuation of the EIU John Craft Invite held at the Lantz Fieldhouse.

Eastern Illinois will kick the season off on the road in Terre Haute, Indiana, for the John Gartland Invitational before hosting their lone home meet, which is the annual John Craft Invitational. After competing at home, EIU will begin a season-ending long road trip, traveling to Illinois, Notre Dame, Missouri, DePaul, and Illinois once again. 

The 2026 OVC Indoor Championship will be held in Louisville, Kentucky, at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center on February 24-25. It will mark the first time the event will be held at the venue. 

The Panthers indoor season will wrap up in Fayetteville, Arkansas, for the NCAA Indoor Championship on March 13-14.
