EIU Women's Tennis Week Schedule
Sunday – March 23 vs. McKendree, 4 pm
 
Eastern Illinois women's tennis steps back out of Ohio Valley Conference play for one match this week as the Panthers are set to host McKendree on Sunday at 8:45 am at the Terre Huate Tennis and Pickleball Center.   Match was originally scheduled to be played outside in Charleston but has been relocated due to weather. 
 
EIU won its OVC opener last weekend with a 4-2 win at Tennessee State.
 
EIU picked up singles wins at the No. 1, No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 positions in the line-up after losing the doubles point and at No. 2 singles.  Emma Pilipovic-Kljajic had her match at No. 6 singles left unfinished after EIU cliched the match.
 
EIU did win at No. 1 doubles with Aleyla Wooten and Charleigh Fay picking up a win together for the second straight match.
 
Wooten, Fay and Luisa Renovales Salazar now all have four singles wins to lead the Panthers.
 
Following the McKendree match, EIU will play at Southern Indiana on Wednesday in a return to OVC action.
