EIU Women's Tennis Week Schedule
Wednesday – April 2 vs. Lindenwood, 1 pm (Danville Tennis Center)
Saturday – April 5 at Western Illinois, 10 am
Sunday – April 6 at Southeast Missouri, 1 pm
 
Eastern Illinois women's tennis gets set for three Ohio Valley Conference matches this week as the Panthers host Lindenwood on Wednesday before traveling to Western Illinois on Saturday and Southeast Missouri on Sunday.
 
Wednesday's match will now be played indoors at the Danville Tennis Center due to expected inclement weather in Charleston.
 
EIU fell to 1-1 in OVC action with a road loss last week at Southern Indiana snapping a two-match win streak by the Panthers. 
 
Luisa Renovales Salazar continues to lead the Panthers with six singles wins including a 2-0 record in OVC singles play at the No. 5 singles spot.
 
Charleigh Fay is also off to a 2-0 start in OVC play in the No. 3 singles spot.
 
In doubles play Aleyla Wooten and Fay are 3-1 since joining together with all matches at the No. 1 doubles spot.
 
EIU hosts SIUE next weekend before the OVC Tournament takes place on April 17 in St. Louis, Mo.
