EIU Women's Tennis Week Schedule

Eastern Illinois women's tennis plays its final regular season match this Saturday as the Panthers host SIUE for Senior Day.
 
The match will start at 2 p.m. and be played at Charleston High School after EIU's Rex Darling Courts were damaged by last week's storms.
 
EIU will honor its lone senior Luisa Renovales Salazar.
 
Salazar has been a two-year member of the Panthers program after transferring from junior college.  This season she has posted a 7-12 singles record including a 3-2 mark in OVC play.   The seven singles wins are currently tied for the most individual wins this season.  In doubles play she has posted five wins with all matches played at the No. 2 doubles spot. 
 
EIU played three OVC matches last week with freshman Ornella Lomenzo going 3-0 in singles play at the No. 2 singles spot.  She was named the OVC Singles co-Player of the Week for her efforts.
 
EIU travels to St. Louis on April 17 for the OVC Championships.  The tournament bracket will be released on Sunday evening for the upcoming championship event.
