The Eastern Illinois Athletic Department welcomed student-athletes back to campus on Sunday evening (April 24) as the fall semester is set to begin this week.
 
EIU honored accomplishments of teams from the past academic year both in their sport but also in the community and in the classroom.
 
The EPIC Trophy was presented with the Panther women's basketball team winning the honor for the third consecutive year.  EIU women's soccer was second in EPIC points followed by men's basketball in third.
