The Panthers will travel north for a Friday meet showdown at the DePaul Alumni Classic. EIU will compete against DePaul, Northern Iowa, Millikin, Illinois State, Illinois-Chicago, Marquette, Milwaukee, Notre Dame, Wartburg, Northern Illinois, Bradley, Central College, Valparaiso, Loyola, Wis-La Crosse, and Wisconsin. EIU will also send three distance runners to the 2026 Heartland Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ryleigh Borgic, Chloe Proffitt, and Mason Stoeger will travel to the Heartland Invitational to compete in the 5k event.

Men's Track:
Daniel Lacy kicked the Missouri Invitational off with a 3rd place finish in the 400m with a time of 48.18. Lacy's time is the second fastest in the OVC. Cale Smith scored a PR in the mile with a time of 4:10.92, which is 7th in the OVC. Nathan Kirby continued his dominance after winning an OVC weekly award, winning the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.10 seconds. The Panthers' winning continued when Machi Nelson earned a first-place finish in the triple jump with a 14.36m mark, securing a personal record. Maliek Bush grabbed a silver medal in the long jump with a personal best, a 7.27m mark, ranking 3rd in the OVC. Kaden Salisbury also recorded a PR, finishing third in the shot put with a 15.56m mark, which is 5th in the OVC. The 4x400 squad consisting of Daniel Lacy, Spencer Wilson, Weston Averkamp, and Tyler Miller won with a time of 3:18.35.
Women's Track:
Abby Venhaus continues her historic season with a third-place finish in the 60m with a time of 7.59 seconds, ranking 5th all-time in EIU history and 2nd in the OVC. Venhaus placed 1st in the long jump with a 5.97m mark, which also ranks 5th all-time in program history and best in the OVC. The rookie, Analena Peterson, scored a PR, earning a second-place finish in the 200m with a time of 24.20, which is now tied for the fastest time in EIU history and 2nd in the Ohio Valley Conference. Ashlyn Denney also moved into the Eastern Illinois top ten record book, running the 800m in 2:12.16, which ranks 5th all-time and 2nd in the OVC. NeVaeh Bryant earned a gold medal in the triple jump with an 11.99m mark, ranking 8th all-time in the program record books and 3rd in the OVC. Rylea Borgic recorded a PR, placing 6th in the mile with a time of 5:04.40, which ranks 7th in the OVC.
