GAME 30
Eastern Illinois will head to the St. Louis metro area for its final two games of the regular season as the Panthers will conclude the 2025-26 season Saturday.  EIU fell to 4-25 overall on Saturday and at 3-15 in the OVC was eliminated for the OVC Tournament picture.  The Panthers open the two game swing at Lindenwood on Thursday followed by a Saturday afternoon game at SIUE.  Lindenwood is second in the OVC race at 22-7 overall, 14-4 in the OVC.  The Lions have won seven straight games at home.

LEWIS CONNECTS ON SENIOR DAY
In her final home game at Groniger Arena senior Tiny Lewis was one of the Panthers scoring leaders finishing with 17 points.  It was her 13th double figure scoring game this season and the 30th of her EIU career.  Lewis knocked down three 3-pointers in the game for her sixth game this season with three made 3-pointers.  The three makes from long range moved Lewis career 3-pointer total to 96.  In addition to her scoring on Saturday, Lewis passed out a season high four assists giving her 156 for her career. 

DESROCHES SUCCESSFUL AT THE LINE
Sydney-James Desroches was one of two Panthers that finished with 17 points on Saturday against Southern Indiana.  The junior forward did most of her damage at the free throw line where she was 10-of-11.  The last EIU player to make ten or more free throws in a game was Macy McGlone on Nov. 23, 2024 against Loyola Chicago.  The 17 point performance was the ninth double figure scoring game this season for Desroches with eight of those in OVC games.  She has two double-doubles this season against Tennessee State and Little Rock.

STARTING LINE-UP SHUFFLE 
Eastern Illinois rolled out its 11th different starting line-up combination this season in Saturday's senior day game against Southern Indiana.  The 11 different starting line-ups ranks 22nd in the NCAA this season and is second most in the OVC behind Tennessee State (12).  EIU has had 11 of its 14 active players on the roster start at least one game this year.  Clara Glad is the only Panther to have played in all 29 games making 28 starts.  Tennessee is the national leader with 18 different starting line-up combinations this year.  A total of 34 teams of the 363 at the NCAA Division I level have utilized ten of more starting line-up combinations
