MUNCIE, Ind. -- Eastern Illinois men's tennis fell to 0-4 on the season as the Panthers lost a 7-0 match at Ball State on Friday (Feb. 24).
The junior and sophomore duo of Warren Race and Volodymyr Zverkovsky picked up the lone Panther victory at No. 3 doubles as the Cardinals won all six singles matchups and the all-important duo point enroute to a 10-2 season mark.
Newcomer David Constantinescu dropped a tough three-set affair at No. 4 singles, while the rest of the EIU lineup unfortunately fell in straight sets.
The Panthers will next head to instate rival Northern Illinois for a 2 p.m. match a week from Saturday on March 3.
